Welcome to The International Center for Attitudinal Healing website!
Our award-winning approach is regarded as one of the most important community mental health models innovated in the last fifty years. Our programs have served hundreds of thousands of people and our approach has been applied in diverse situatons worldwide, including children coping with death and dying, refugees during the Bosnian War, and in prisons, schools, hospitals, and local and state government. Attitudinal healing is offered in about 100 locations worldwide. We are the founding center, established in 1975. We provide a wide range of support services at no charge, support our worldwide network, and offer classes, training, and consulting locally and internationally.
Our founder, Gerald G. Jampolsky, M.D. was awarded the prestitious Pride in Profession Award by the American Medical Association in 2005 for promoting the art and science of medicine. In 2006 Dr. Jampolsky and his wife Diane Cirincione, Ph.D. were awared the Integrative Medicine Award.
At the heart of Attitudinal Healing is the belief in the extraordinary ability of ordinary people to be of help to one another, and the idea that we have the power to choose our attitude in any given moment, regardless of circumstances.
